Excursion Information Destination: 365 km from Marrakech (approx. 6 hours) Duration: 2 days / 1 night (departure at 7:00 AM) Transport: Air-conditioned minibus in good condition Departure Point: Pick-up from your hotel Our Marrakech-to-Zagora “mini-circuit” is the perfect plan for travelers who want to discover the beauty of the Moroccan Sahara in just two days. You can join one of our shared tours or choose a private trip for a more personalized experience. During this journey, you will pass through the famous Kasbah Aït Ben Haddou, Ouarzazate (the Pearl of the South), the Kasbah of Taourirt, the Draa Valley and its palm oasis, the traditional Berber village of Agdz, and finally Zagora, known as the Gateway to the Desert. Along the route, massive earthen kasbahs line the valley — authentic family homes where life has remained unchanged for centuries. --- Detailed Itinerary Day 1: Marrakech → Ouarzazate → Agdz → Zagora → Desert Camp We depart at 7:00 AM toward Ouarzazate, crossing the stunning landscapes of the Atlas Mountains and authentic Berber villages. Lunch (not included) will be served near the Kasbah. After lunch, we continue through Ouarzazate — the African capital of cinema — then head toward Agdz and Zagora. Along the way, we explore the Draa Valley and its vast palm grove. Next, enjoy a 1.5-hour camel ride through the desert dunes, with a break to admire the landscape and take photos. We arrive at the desert camp about 30 minutes before sunset. Enjoy traditional mint tea with local nomads, then climb the dunes to watch a magnificent Saharan sunset. After sunset, take a peaceful walk in the desert, where you’ll experience one of the most stunning night skies imaginable. Return to the camp for dinner, followed by traditional nomadic music around the campfire. Included on Day 1: • Camel ride • Dinner • Overnight in a desert tent --- Day 2: Zagora → Aït Ben Haddou → Marrakech Wake up before sunrise to enjoy the magical early morning light. After breakfast, ride camels back to the vehicle and begin the return journey. We stop to visit Aït Ben Haddou, a 16th-century Kasbah and UNESCO World Heritage Site. After the visit, we stop for lunch (not included), then continue through the Atlas Mountains. Estimated arrival in Marrakech: around 6:30 PM. Included on Day 2: • Breakfast • Visit to Aït Ben Haddou
